The highlight of this season is the beauty of Cherry blossom. Because of its short time in blossom (about a week ) and its fragileness (it is easily affected by the weather), people are even more attracted to their glory. This 6 night Spring Tour tries to chase and catch the breathtaking scenery by hopping from Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima, and Tokyo using Japan Rail system. The tour offers comfortable stays at Sheraton Hotels in every city. There is no assurance of viewing the cherry blossom, unfortunately because of its sensitive nature, but we chose the best possible travel dates to relish the Japan's Spring Beauty. This package focuses on enjoyment of Japan's season, culture, and foods - join us!

Day 1 on Mar. 31 (Sat) : Depart from the U.S.

U.S.A. - OSAKA

Depart from the U.S. on your own
Make sure one more time if you have a valid passport and a visa (if necessary) ready.
Please get to the international airport 2.5 to 3 hours before your departure.
Relax and enjoy your flight!

Day 2 on Apr. 1 (Sun) : Arrive in Osaka, Japan

OSAKA

Welcome to Osaka!
Transfer to your hotel in Osaka by Airport Limousine Bus on your own. Staff will meet you upon arrival and assist you to get on a bus to the hotel in Osaka.
For your convenience, we recommend you to exchange your Japan Rail Pass voucher at the designated ticket office in Osaka Airport.

Day 3 on Apr. 2 (Mon) : Osaka 1-day Walking Tour

OSAKA

Osaka 1-day Walking Tour (Approx. 6.5 hours)
10:00AM - Tour assembles at Hotel Granvia Osaka, located right next to JR Osaka Station. (Transportation fee from/to your hotel not included)
Aerial Garden Observatory - Osaka Castle - Lunch - Aqua Liner (1-hour River Cruise)
4:30PM - Tour disbands at Osaka station. (Return to your hotel at your own expense)

Day 4 on Apr. 3 (Tue) : Kyoto & Nara 1-day Sightseeing Tour

OSAKA - KYOTO - NARA - KYOTO - OSAKA

Kyoto & Nara 1-day Sightseeing Tour from Kyoto (Approx. 11 hours)
8:35AM - Tour assembles at New Miyako Hotel, located next to JR Kyoto Station. Use your Japan Rail Pass from JR Osaka Station to JR Kyoto Station. (Transportation fee from your hotel in Osaka to JR Osaka Station not included)
Kyoto (Nijo Castle - Kinkakuji Temple - Kyoto Imperial Palace - Lunch)
Nara (Todaiji Temple - Nara Deer Park - Kasuga Taisha Shrine)
7:30PM - Tour disbands at Kyoto station. Return to your hotel in Osaka using your Japan Rail Pass. (Transportation fee from JR Osaka Station to your hotel in Osaka not included)

Day 5 on Apr. 4 (Wed) : Free at your leisure in Hiroshima

OSAKA - HIROSHIMA

Transfer to Hiroshima
AM - Transfer to Hiroshima from JR Shin-Osaka Station by Shinkansen (Bulllet Train) using your Japan Rail Pass. (Transportation fee from your hotel in Osaka to JR Shin-Osaka Station not included)

- We recommend you to send your main luggage to Tokyo in advance. In that case, pack your toiletry bag and one change of clothing in your carry-on bag at least.

PM - Free at your leisure upon arrival in Hiroshima. (Visit Peace Memorial Park - A-Bomb Dome Museum, and enjoy Okonomiyaki, Japanese-style Pancake for dinner)

Day 6 on Apr. 5 (Thu) : Free at your leisure in Hiroshima

HIROSHIMA - TOKYO

AM - Free at your leisure. (You may want to visit Miyajima Island and see Itsukushima Shrine recognized as the World Cultural Heritage Site)

Transfer to Tokyo
Transfer to Shinagawa, Tokyo from Hiroshima via Shin-Osaka by Shinkansen (Bulllet Train) using your Japan Rail Pass. Check-in at your hotel. (Transportation fee to your hotel in Tokyo not included)

Day 7 on Apr. 6 (Fri) : Tokyo Full-day Sightseeing Tour

TOKYO

Tokyo Full-day Sightseeing Tour (Approx. 10.5 hours)
7:50AM - Tour assembles at your hotel.
Tokyo Tower - Japanese Garden and Tea Ceremony - Lunch - Imperial Palace Plaza - Sumida River Cruise (40 minutes) - Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise-dori - Ginza Shopping District
6:30PM - Tour disbands at your hotel.

Day 8 on Apr. 7 (Sat) - Leave for the U.S.

TOKYO - U.S.A.

Time flies! It's already the day to go back to the U.S. You're free until your departure time. Go for the last minute souvenir shopping or try that sushi restaurant you were thinking about!

Take an Airport Limousine Bus to Narita or Haneda International Airport on your own. (Assist service is not provided)
Make sure to get to the airport 2 hours prior to your departure time.
