| Description: You will learn how to fight using a Samurai sword from a group of experts led by Tetsuro Shimaguchi, the head choreographer in the swordfight scene in the snowy garden in “Kill Bill: Volume One” and the man who played the role of Crazy 88 (Miki) in the film. First, you will learn basic movements in sword fighting, for example, drawing, posing and swinging. Then, before practicing sword fighting in pairs, you will watch breathtaking sword fights by your instructors. So your performance can be evaluated after your performance will be videotaped. At the end of this program, you will change into kimono. Don’t miss this great opportunity to receive a lesson from a team of worldwide known sword fighting actors! |
A Day in the Life of a Sumo Wrestler (HCA001)

| Description: A typical day in the life of a sumo wrestler starts with early morning practice. It's a spectacle to see these powerful wrestlers battling it out in these morning sessions. You will witness up close the massive size of these wrestlers, which could not be truly appreciated from the sidelines.
Straight after that it will be time to enjoy a meal of chanko with oyakata (master). Chanko is a meal that the wrestlers eat everyday to get bigger. You'll also be able to talk to the oyakata about a sumo wrestler's everyday life and gain a deeper insight into the sport of sumo |

| Description: From watching the master chef at a sushi restaurant, it may look as though the art of sushi making is effortless. Although, when you try to make sushi yourself, you will realize just how difficult it really is to make perfectly shaped sushi. The art of sushi making goes beyond its appearance. Pieces of sushi made from the same fish will taste different if prepared by a master chef or by students. Find out how the preparation method of sushi reflects its taste. After doing this tour, you will have the knowledge to truly appreciate delicious sushi. In this program, you will learn how to create nigiri sushi (rice topped with raw fish) as well as makizushi (sushi rolled in dried seaweed). Then you'll be ready to prepare your own delicious sushi at home. |

Ghibli Characters are used in a fun way throughout the museum, including the giant Cat Bus from Totoro, the Robot from Laputa and the harbor view from a window as admired by Kiki in the movie. |

3. Hakone Ropeway - National Park
Enjoy the latest double-wired gondola with a 360 degree panorama for a breath-taking view of the volcanic Hakone Mountains.

Suggest trying black colored shell eggs (eggs boiled in sulfurous hot spring water.)
5. Boat Cruise on Lake Ashi
